I can now be a part of the "blogging" world and I am curious how it's gonna be.... I'm just gonna wing it...
Elder Bednar has super inspiring talks!!
I am currently in a Writing 150 class in which my professor asked us to read and post about his talk, "Things as they really are." He also gives a talk with the title "to Sweep the Earth as a Flood" in reference to using social media to spread uplifting messages about the gospel.
I can personally say that I thoroughly enjoy getting on Facebook and seeing new mormon messages or other short clips that I have not yet seen before!! That's basically the whole reason I still have Facebook in the first place, cause there are multiple uplifting messages and videos that I have not seen before!!!
His talk "Things as they really are" really hit home with me because I have personally felt the desire lately to spend more time "gaming" and less time planning my wedding with my fiancé. That sounds evil, but for those of you who have planned a wedding you know the pain...
But like I said it really helped me to put things in perspective and really couldn't have come at a better time. What can be done to see things as they really are? I feel for every person it is different, but I guess the phrase "all things in moderation" totally applies here.
